|
Photographers wishing access within the flight line perimeter must purchase a special photographers identification vest from KloudBusters at a cost of $35. If you don' have a vest purchased from us you will not be allowed on the range.
Only PROFESSIONAL Photographers will be allowed on the flight line. To get a vest and badge to gain access to the flight line, you must complete a "LDRS 27 Photographers Access Form" prior to the start of LDRS 27 specifying for which publication or company you are shooting. "Freelance" is not acceptable.
Each photographer must have a personal FM radio on their person and listen to flight operations broadcast while on the range. No exceptions. These may be purchased at WalMart, Best Buy, etc. for a nominal cost. All launch operations on the PA will be broadcast on FM and at times it is necessary to give instructions to photographers via the PA/FM broadcast. The "LDRS 27 Photographers Access Form" may be found here. Complete the form and mail your $35 to: LDRS 27 / KLOUDBusters Inc., c/o Science Education Center, 2730 Boulevard Plaza, Wichita, KS 67211-3812. You can pick-up your photographers vest and badge at registration when you arrive at the launch site. No refunds. Control of photographers on the flight line will be the responsibility of the on-duty Launch Control Officer and the Launch Director. Failure to comply with their direction will result in the immediate revocation of photographers privileges without refund. KloudBusters reserves the right to limit the per-company number of photographers and the number of photographers on the flight line at any given time. All of the above has been implemented to promote the safety of everyone attending LDRS 27, to keep the flow of the launch running smoothly, and avoid unnecessary delays or inconvenience to flyers from photographers actions. |
